No, the Rika Block will not sink, as long as you prepare the ground as instructed.
Q. What ground can the blocks be used on?
Rika Blocks can be used on lawn, soil (sandy, clay etc), bricked areas, cement or brick paving.
Q. Can the blocks be painted?
Yes – Rika Blocks can be painted, they are cement based so make sure to use masonry primer before apply your paint.
Q. Can you use the blocks for elevated decks.
Yes, Rika Blocks can be used to elevate your structure up to 900mm high.
Q. Can the blocks be installed on a slope?
Yes – Rika Blocks can be installed on a slope, but all blocks will need to be level on the ground.

The Rika Block weighs 15kg per block.
Q. How does the timber seat into the block?
The profile of the Rika Block is chamfered so that as you place the timber into position it grips onto the beam.

A free standing 3.0 x 3.0 deck uses 9 Rika Blocks which should be placed 1.5m apart.
